Etch your name in the sunset

Dear friends,

We have recently had a concrete driveway built for the cottages, for the first time in its 55 year history. No more dust and tyres skidding down that fairly steep driveway!

We run the cottage accommodation on a shoe-string budget, to open up the chance for an affordable seaside escape in what we consider the best beach in metropolitan Adelaide (perhaps in the world). We have limited financial reserves, and so we are inviting you to take part in a fundraising opportunity to help pay for our new driveway. We have laid a concrete edge around the front lawn area at Cana, and will be topping it off with local Willunga slate pavers etched with the details of our wonderful donors (see main photo for an example).

There is a limit of three lines of text per paver, each line a maximum of 22 characters (a space is a character) – an example might be –

For a donation of $150 per paver (or more if you like!) you can have your names around the front lawn forever (or at least a very long time). Of course, you are welcome to donate more generously, or purchase multiple pavers in the names of friends and family, or just use it to convey a poetic thought.

The driveway cost approximately $14,000 – let’s see how close we can get to that with this fundraiser. Once we have our first batch of 30 orders we will get them etched and installed. Hopefully in time for this coming summer season!
